BRINE TO WATER PRINCIPLE
Plastic tube (brine horizontal collector/drilled and injection/geothermal well or energy piles in the ground etc. – several hundred meters long, according to project requirements) is used for input thermal media transfer. Liquid medium (glycol etc.) circulate in the close loop across evaporator.
Circulated medium is “heated” by several degrees Celsius through the ground (according to project requirements).
Indoor unit with evaporator extracts thermal energy from the liquid medium and cool down medium circulate back into the collector/drilled and injection well.
Advantages
- stable heating performance
- long-term service life
- savings of up to 70% of costs
- quiet operation
Disadvantages
- higher investment costs (drilling)
- ground work (surface collector)
