WATER TO WATER PRINCIPLE
The surface water or ground water (natural source, according to project requirements) is used us input thermal medium. Liquid medium is pumped from the source (mostly from the well etc.) and circulate across evaporator.
Indoor unit with evaporator extracts thermal energy from the liquid medium and cool down medium circulate back into the natural source (the second/soaking-infiltration well etc.).
The distance between the wells should be at least 10 m, preferably in the direction of the underground streams, so that water is good absorbed back into the source.
Advantages
- high heating factor
- short payback time
- lower acquisition costs
Disadvantages
- few suitable locations
- requirements for chemical composition
