Tiba AG, a traditional Swiss brand with over 175 years of history, prioritized sustainability and modern technology when building its new headquarters. Since 2021, the 6,700 m² facility has been heated and cooled by a system based on Czech-made Master Therm heat pumps.

Focus on Efficiency and Sustainability

The installed system is built around two BoxAir Split 60IS air-to-water heat pumps, each with a heating capacity of 46 kW. In addition to heating, the units also support domestic hot water production and cooling. Designed as a hybrid system, it includes a wood pellet boiler and rooftop photovoltaic panels, creating a highly efficient and self-sufficient energy solution.

Year-Round Comfort

Heating and cooling are distributed throughout the building via radiators and convectors. To ensure sufficient system capacity, the setup includes storage for 960 liters of hot water and a 1,000-liter cold water tank. The entire system is managed by a central control unit that efficiently integrates all energy sources.

Czech Technology in the Heart of Switzerland

The installation at Tiba AG headquarters showcases how modern technology can align with environmental goals and low operational costs. Czech manufacturer Master Therm demonstrated its ability to deliver a flexible solution that seamlessly integrates into complex energy systems.
